SAVANNAH, GA
As morning breaks, we arrive at Savannah, GA for a service stop. Normally this would have been done during darkness, but since we are running over twqo hours late, sun has already risen. During the night we progressed through the rest of North Carolina, South Carolina and most of Georgia.

We have a break at Savannah. We can stretch our legs while we have a crew change and the locomotive, #812, takes on fuel. During my explorations, I find the end of the train, the baggage car that trails the train set.

As we arrive into the Tampa area, the train must be turned to back into Tampa Union Station. We leave the mainline and turn north on to the east leg for a short distance. Once we pass the top of the WYE, the switch is thrown and we back down the western leg of the WYE back on the the main line and then into the station.
